Uncle Sid is a manly guy.  He drives a truck, wears a cap, loves to shoot, raises Scottish Highlanders and owns a dog named Buzz.  Each Spring he plants a bounteous garden so he can share his produce with family, friends and neighbors.  Uncle Sid is known for his wonderfully-sweet, juicy raspberries.  A nice description of Uncle Sid too.  About ten years ago, his wife, Suzanne, went to an all-natural soap making class with her mom.  She came home very excited and convinced her husband he should try making soap with his manly hands.  Little did Uncle Sid know what was in store for him.  They made their first batch of handcrafted, all-natural soap in a wax paper-lined shoe box.  Pretty soon they were experimenting with scents, oils, scratch-ems and clever names for their new soap bars.

True to Uncle Sid's character, he began sharing his all-natural soap, "Man Bars", with friends, family and neighbors.  Uncle Sid soon realized he needed to make more soap when people began requesting certain varieties and offered to pay for them.  Their little hobby was turning into a small business - Uncle Sids' Handcrafted, All-natural Soap Bars.

Uncle Sid's commitment to using only the finest ingredients in his all-natural soap is a big part of his success.  Another part of his success are the names of his soap bars.  Each name must pass the giggle-test. Uncle Sid says, "Suzanne and I come up with a list of names for a soap batch. As we say the names, the one that makes us giggle the most becomes our newest soap variety."  It's only natural that customers refer to themselves by their favorite soap name.  Suzanne's favorite is Loco Limey.
